STAMPA New Website and New Venue for Stampa 2016

After many years at the RDS, Stampa; The Irish National Stampa Exhibition will have a new venue this year – Griffith Conference Centre, which is part of the Griffith College Campus, close to Leonard’s Corner and beside the National Boxing Stadium on the South Circular Road, Dublin 8.

Stampa 2016 will be held in the Griffith College Dublin Conference Centre from 14th to 16th October (11am to 6pm each day); Stampa 2017 will be held from 06th to 08th October and Stampa 2018 will be held from 05th to 07th October.

The site includes a modern auditorium/conference centre and there is free car parking, free Wi-Fi and good catering facilities. The bright exhibition space has natural light and offers a more comfortable environment for both dealers and collectors. Details of Stampa membership is available on www.stampa.ie. Member souvenirs this year include a special overprinted version of the Leaders and Icons miniature sheet from the 1916 Centenary set. An Post will provide an exhibit relating to 1916 and all visitors can enter a draw with prizes sponsored by An Post.. As well as the usual competitive exhibits, there will a special display of 1916 postcards. In addition, there will be a special Centenary of the Easter Rising one-frame competition.
